This 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in New Zealand is a thorough course that meets Yoga Alliance certification standards. It covers a wide range of topics, including yoga philosophy and history, asana practice (Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin), sequencing, pranayama, kriyas, meditation, and more.

You’ll also dive into yoga anatomy and physiology, alignment and adjustments, mantras and kirtan, and workshops on teaching styles. The training includes essential teachings from the Patanjali Yoga Sutras, the chakras, nadis, and the business of yoga.

Typical Daily Schedule

The daily schedule for our 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in New Zealand is flexible, adapting to the needs and focus of the students. Below is a general outline of a typical day:

  • Day 1: Starts at 3 PM
  • Regular Days: 7 AM – 6:30 PM
  • Final Day: Concludes by noon
  • Off Day: Sundays

Typical Daily Schedule

  • 07:00: Asana practice
  • 08:30: Class review
  • 09:00: Breakfast and break
  • 10:10: Lecture on yoga theory, methodology, philosophy, or anatomy
  • 12:45: Pranayama, meditation, kriya, or Yoga Nidra
  • 13:00: Lunch break
  • 15:00: Group teaching and asana methodology
  • 17:00: Asana workshop (Yin or Restorative)
  • 18:30: Day ends
  • 19:30: Dinner or shared meals
