What is Fascia?

What is Fascia?

Fascia 101

Now I know that the FASCIA thing is a little confusing ... What is connective tissue, what is fascia, is tendon fascia ... etc.

In the simplest of terms, fascia is an opaque connective tissue covering to muscle tissue. The fascia from one muscle then connects with the fascia from other muscles, and forms a network of connective tissue that integrates from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.

This little video by Thomas Myers clarified it for me somewhat in terms of the way WE are using the term in YOGA as a general term ... rather than the strict anatomical use of the word.Have a look and let me know what you think ... especially you geeks 🙂

Also check out BRAIN GAMES on Netflicks ... an easy way to take in some good mind info and loosen up a few paradigms.

And anything by Neil De Grasse Tyson if you are feeling Cosmological ... OR Brian Green if you are feeling Quantum Physical.
